Visit Luxembourg

Nestled between Germany, France, and Belgium, Luxembourg is a vibrant hub where multicultural harmony meets breathtaking scenery. From UNESCO World Heritage sites to world-class gastronomy, discover a small country with an unforgettable soul.

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

Situated at the heart of Western Europe between Belgium, Germany and France, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is one of the smallest countries of the European Union. The country covers an area of 2,586 sq. km and is divided into two main geographical regions: the Gutland in the south, covering 1,758 sq. km, and the Oesling in the north, covering 828 sq. km.

It has two natural regions: the Oesling in the north, a wooded region that is part of the Ardennes massif and borders Germany’s Eifel plateau, and Guttland (literally the Good Land), which includes the Moselle valley with its winemaking activities in the east and the Minette coal basin in the south.

Luxembourg City

Luxembourg City, the capital of the only Grand Duchy in the world, will surprise you with its myriad delights. Rarely will you find a country in Europe where so many cultures, mentalities and languages act in accordance and perfect harmony. With its stunning blend of theatre and museums, UNESCO World Heritage sites, architectural jewels and Michelin-rated gastronomy, the capital city of Luxembourg is one of the most unique experiments in harmonious diversity.
